Your land is one of the most important parts of building your new home. It will determine so many things from size, single or double storey, design, energy efficiency and even colour depending on where the land is. It’s hard for us to start without a block in mind so this would be step one. If you need help with this, please ask as we may know of land yet to be released.

Initial Meeting
During this meeting we will go over how MyStyle Homes is different than any other builder in Cairns. Our process is quite detailed in every way, so you know exactly what you’re getting down to the smallest detail. We will explain how we work and how we can help you build your dream home.
MyPreliminary Agreement
So you are happy with what you have seen so far and want to build your wonderful new home with us. From here we enter into a Preliminary Agreement where we do all the testing on your land and design your new home. At the end of this process, we will provide you with an extensive and detailed “Fixed Price” quote.
Contract Stage
Once you’re happy with the quote we move to contract. Once the contract is signed, we then send off to your lender for finance approval. All contracts are subject to finance, so you stay protected. We keep one copy here and you keep the other. We also scan the contract and send you a digital copy.
Finance Approval
Upon finance approval we start the process of colour selections, insurances, energy ratings, plumbing permits, covenant approvals and finally stamped engineered plans and onto council approval. We require the contract deposit to be paid before these works start.
Building Approval
Now we have the building approval from council we are set to go. Your house will now have been fully ordered with the Trades and suppliers to lock in all the rates and we begin construction.
